Boys bring home a win during season opener
On Thursday, Nov. 30 the boys basketball team hosted West Des Monies Dowling Catholic for their season opener.
There was lots of anticipation on how the returning State Champions would fair after losing their stacked senior class. However, the Trojans proved that they were still a strong and developed team. After trailing West Des Monies Dowling Catholic 21-22 at half the Trojans overcame West Des Monies Dowling Catholic 52-41 in a close game. Patrick McCaffery ’19 led the Trojans with 24 points during the game.
