Basketball teams face off against City

The girls and boys basketball teams faced City in a crosstown double header on Tuesday, Dec. 12.

The girls team played first in the double header against City on Dec. 12 and fell 53-40 after a hard fight. Logan Cook ’18 led the Women of Troy with 14 points. Promptly after, the boys dominated against City, winning 75-48, with Patrick McCaffery ’19 leading the Trojans with 21 points. Girls basketball team reflects on state tournament
The varsity boys basketball team celebrates after receiving the 4A state championship trophy Saturday Mar. 11 at Wells Fargo Arena. After a loss to West Des Moines Valley in last years championship game, the Trojans avenged their loss this year in a 64-50 victory for the teams seventh state title.
Boys basketball team takes home seventh state title
Senior Ali Tauchen hugs Rachel Saunders 18 after the girls won against Waukee in the girls state quarter finals 40-38. Saunders, pictured in crutches, suffered from a knee injury in the first quarter where she also scored a three pointer.
Girls basketball team finishes season in state semifinals
