It felt more and more like a normal Friday night as fans spread out to fill the stands in the football team’s last regular-season game of the year last night at Trojan Field. The Trojans celebrated the class of 2021 on senior night as they faced off with Eastern Iowa rival Cedar Rapids Kennedy.

Senior Marcus Morgan found Mikey Brown ’21 on a textbook play-action pass on the first offensive snap for a 86 yard touchdown to put West up 7-0 seconds in.

Damarion Williams ’21 and Grahm Goering ’21 both connected with Morgan for touchdowns of their own before the end of the first quarter. Andrew Durham’s offense continued to roll all night to lead the Trojans to a 48-21 win on Oct. 9.

Garrett Hartwig’s squad awaits their playoff placement as they head into the postseason undefeated after a three-week shutdown.
