Good Time Company and Showtime show choirs performed this Saturday, Feb. 6, for the Music InMotion competition held at Mt. Pleasant High School. Showtime presented their show “On the Run,” with songs “Into the Cataclysmic,” “Caught in the Storm,” and more. GTC performed their show, “Volume 48,” with tunes “Want Me Back,” “Hit Me With Your Best Shot/Fighter” and more.

Show time placed third in the prep division and GTC placed second in daytime rounds. After making it to finals, GTC placed second runner-up behind AcaPella and Central Singers Inc. Show Band also took home the best band award for GTC.

“I like how even though we were the last group to go for finals and it was really late, we still hyped each other up and brought the energy,” GTC dance captain Emma Wagner ’24 said.

Catch GTC and Showtime before their season ends at Benton “A Touch of Class,” Pella “Dutch Masters,” or West’s Spring into Swing show Feb. 26 at 2 PM and 5 PM.
