Food+%28not%29+for+thought+summer+recipes

As summertime is approaching, so is the time for get-togethers with friends and great food. The best recipes for those occasions are delicious, but oh-so-simple. Guests won’t believe these scrumptious treats were homemade.

Naan Pizza

Ingredients:
Naan bread
Pizza Sauce
Any cheese
Toppings of choice (we used pepperoni and peppers)

Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Place Naan bread on a cooking sheet. Spread pizza sauce on naan bread and sprinkle cheese on top. Put on topping(s) of your choice. Place in oven for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is crispy. Slice and enjoy!

Berry Lemonade

Ingredients:
One container of lemonade (Simply Lemonade), ½ cup per serving
One container of Berry Juice (Naked Berry Blast), ½ cup per serving
One can of Sprite, ½ cup per serving
Ice
Frozen Blueberries
Lemon garnish

Directions:
Fill a glass with ice, put in equal parts berry juice, lemonade and Sprite. Drop in the frozen blueberries and add a sliced lemon wedge to the edge of the glass to finish off this easy, refreshing drink.

Caprese Salad

Ingredients:

Mozzarella

Balsamic Vinegar
Olive Oil

Directions:
Slice the tomatoes and mozzarella. Layer the slices on a plate with basil. Top with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar and olive oil.
