Boys soccer hosts Iowa City West Trojan Classic
On Friday, March 30 and Saturday, March 31, West hosted the Iowa City West Trojan Classic soccer tournament.
Cedar Rapids Washington, Davenport Assumption, Iowa City City High, Muscatine, Linn-Mar, Urbandale, Iowa City West, Ankeny and Ankeny Centennial participated in the Iowa City West Trojan Classic. West first defeated Davenport Assumption 7-0 on Friday, March 30. That following night the Trojans faced off against Ankeny Centennial which ended in a scoreless game during regulation. Ankeny Centennial overcame West and defeated them 1-0 during penalty kicks. On Saturday, March 31, the boys fell to Ankeny 0-3.
