Show choirs take home awards to finish season
After a long season, GTC was named grand champs and Showtime placed 2nd.

GTC and Showtime took on the Pella Dutchmaster’s competition on Feb. 18 and received many awards. During the daytime round, GTC placed 1st in the 4A division and also won best band overall. Showtime took home 2nd in the unisex prep division and best band in the prep division. After daytime awards, GTC prepped for their final competitive performance of the season. After a long day, GTC took the stage at 10 pm and performed. Awards followed where they were announced grand champs and won best vocals and band for final awards.
It was a jaw dropping feeling. When they announced our school I just had to sit and let it sink in for a second.

GTC and Showtime will have one final performance for Swing Into Spring on Feb. 26 at 2 and 5 p.m.
