On the first of May each year, millions of high school seniors across the nation and world make a final decision about their college and future plans. To celebrate this milestone, West High School administration hosted a Desserts and Decisions event in the cafeteria. Students gathered during AFT wearing their college commitment shirts and shared cookies and cake with classmates. They celebrated their decisions with friends and expressed excitement for what comes next.
Upcoming events for seniors include Senior Field Day on May 17 from 2-6 p.m. at the HTRC. Senior prank will take place May 18 alongside Senior Skip Day. May 28 marks seniors’ last day, along with Senior Sunset and movie night. That morning, seniors will visit their elementary schools in cap and gown.
Following graduation rehearsal on May 29 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m is graduation, which is scheduled for May 30 at 12 p.m.
