West High Trobotix advances to state
The West High FTC robotics team competed at the Super Qualifiers on Feb 10th.

The West High School FTC robotics team, Trobotix 8696, participated in the Super Qualifier tournament in Davenport on Feb. 10th. They were one of two Iowa City teams to advance to this competition, alongside with one Southeast team.
The Trobotix team had five qualifying matches of which they won three and advanced to the semi-final matches. In the semis, they won two out of three matches to advance to the finals in which they lost two out of three. The team still advanced to the state FTC tournament that will happen on Feb. 23 to 24 in the Coralville Marriott Hotel and Conference Center. This will be the team’s second year at the state tournament.
