West football improves to 5-1
The Trojans traveled to Linn-Mar on Friday, Sept. 28.
West began the game against Linn-Mar on Friday, Sept. 28 with a field goal from Josh Jasek ’19 in the first quarter. Peter Breitbach ’19 and Owen McAreavy ’19 added touchdowns making it 17-0 West going into the second half. Jasek added another field goal, and following touchdowns by Jalen Gaudet ’19 and McAreavy made the score 34-0 at the end of the third quarter. Justin Thomas ’19 and Linn-Mar added touchdowns in the final quarter to finish the game. The Trojans won 41-7. West will venture to Davenport North on Thursday, Oct. 4.
