Head track and field coach TJ Craig and his squad hosted the second annual Eastern Iowa Track and Field Festival where athletes and teams from around the state looked to qualify for the famous Drake Relays at the end of the month. The event, originally scheduled for April 10, was postponed until April 12 due to weather resulting in a slimming of the field due to the last-minute schedule change. Despite the loss of some original teams, local squads signed up and made the trip to Trojan Field for a chance to compete with some of the fastest and best athletes in the state.
