The Trojans women’s soccer teams faced Cedar Rapids Kennedy Tuesday, April 26 at the Ed Barker field. The Trojans dominated with the final score being 8-1. Both junior varsity and varsity were victorious. Seniors Kenadee Showalter and Mattie Harms were a fierce duo on the wings, with fellow senior Jada Dachtler bringing the pressure down the center. Serene Hamzeh ’24 broke up play through the midfield, showing growth as a player since her varsity debut the previous season. Freshman Emma Potthoff is certainly a player to watch as she continues her high school soccer career, using her skill to bring her toe-to-toe with the keeper. Senior Anna Verry directer her backline as a center back, holding steady as Alyson Skala ’24 challenged offenders.
