The Iowa City West Cheer team traveled to Urbandale for the first away football game of the season on Sep. 1. The team showed off many new dances, cheers, and stunts to keep the crowd excited and entertained.
“This team is extremely determined and motivated to prove themselves. We have a hard competition season ahead, but I am confident that this group of athletes will able to set anything they put their minds to,” Head Coach Morgan Dibert said.
The Iowa City West cheerleaders will perform at the rest of the football games this season as well as The Triton Cheer Challenge on Oct. 29, and their State competition on Nov. 4.
