Many players in West High’s bands find participating in the All-State Band to be a very prestigious and worthy honor. But first, as with many music organizations, players need to audition. Auditions for All-State are on October 21 with the Music Festival being on November 16-18. A total of 30 students from West will be auditioning for All-State this year. WSS interviews Henry Lawler ’27 and Isabel Ceynar ’25, who are some of the many students at West High’s band who are aiming to achieve this goal.
