West Science Olympiad fielded four teams to compete in the virtual Silvercreek Science Olympiad competition, in which competitors submitted their events online from Jan. 26 to Feb 2. Across all four teams, the club took seven podium spots and the Gold team placed second overall.

Looking forward, the Gold, Green and Black teams are preparing for the Mount Vernon competition Feb. 21. Students will be looking to apply the practice and experience they’ve gained from virtual events in the club’s first in-person competition of the season.
