For decades, West High journalists have covered their school and community.

West’s journalism program consists of three publications: yearbook, print and online. Each publication has its own dedicated staff that specializes in different areas.

Throughout the year, student journalists at West cover hundreds of stories from sporting events to clubs to events in the Iowa City community. Watch the video below to see what some of these staffers love most about journalism at West High.
