Asian Cuisine and Culture Club kick-off

The Asian Cuisine and Culture Club had its first official meeting last thursday on Oct 9, 2014. First-time members made Shin, a type of Korean ramen filled to the brim with various chosen toppings and ingredients. It was meant to emulate the delicious noodle dish in Hayao Miyazaki’s adorable animated film Ponyo (which was playing as the club members cooked the meal). The club meets every other thursday in the foods room down the art hallway, and the next meeting will be on Oct 23 after school. (the designated dish is potato salad)
