The 2020 cross country season has brought nothing but adversity to Josh Kidman’s squad this fall. From injuries to shutdowns, countless miles around Iowa City came together in Fort Dodge this morning as the boys cross country team sent their top seven runners into the packed field of the 4A state meet.

After missing a couple of weeks due to a back injury, Alex McKane ’22 capitalized on a big junior year as he placed 11th with a time of 16:15.6.

Seniors Tosh Klever, Sebastian Cochran, Drew Peterson and Mohan Kumar put it all out on the course in the last high school race of their career to help lead the team to place 11th overall.
