In the last week, there were one million new COVID-19 cases in the country, and an end to the pandemic is nowhere in sight. On a local level, Gov. Kim Reynolds has taken little action to prevent the spread of the virus, prioritizing the economy over others’ lives. Reynolds, a staunch supporter of Trump, has closely followed the president’s lead in her COVID-19 response. If masks are optional and social distancing is not taken seriously, this pandemic is not going away anytime soon, and 2021 may be even worse than 2020. For goodness sake, Kim, stop politicizing science and wear a mask.
